WILL DAVID BECKHAM REALLY COME OUT OF RETIREMENT?

In a new interview, David Beckham has teased b that he might be coming out of retirement after announcing it just one year ago.


David Beckham, 39, announced his retirement from soccer (or “football,” as he’d call it) in the spring of 2013, and played his last game on May 18, 2013, after a 20-year-long career. However, in a new BBC documentary set to release June 9, David hints that a return to soccer may be in the works. “Now I go to watch a basketball game and, when you are watching athletes play at the top of their game, for me it gives me that itch again and I want to be back in the game,” David told BBC cameras, according to NBC Sports.

“Then and I start thinking to myself ‘Could I play again? Could I go back? Could I come out of retirement and start playing again? There’s never been a player-owner, but maybe?”
