Sundays are for resting, so indulge yourself with these easy beauty tips for a lovely, relaxing day.

Suzanne Wangmann shows how to make the most out of your Sunday with advice to help you look good and feel even better.
Greet the sun
Start the day with a brisk walk. It only takes 20 minutes to get your feel-good endorphins pumping and to give your skin radiance.
Back yourself
Do you end up with a sore back if you've had a sleep-in? Spend five minutes having a stretch to help relieve tension.
For a quick and effective back stretch, sit on the floor with your legs straight out in front of you. Walk your fingers along the ground and gently drop your chest to your thighs. Don't push it too hard. Hold the stretch for a few seconds and then slowly return to sitting position.
Step lively
Spoil yourself with a hand and foot overhaul. Many manicure salons in the suburbs and regional areas offer great value mani and pedi services and they're such a treat. You'll walk out with soft heels and perfect nails.
Cop a scrubbing
Body scrubs are so easy to make and are the perfect way to give your skin a treat that will leave it soft and fragrant.
In a cup or plastic container, mix together a handful each of salt and sugar, then add some oil (olive or vegetable oil will do) to make a pasty consistency. Finally, add a few drops of your favourite essential oil to make it fragrant.
Standing in the shower recess, rub the scrub onto dry skin and work towards your heart. Rinse off or hop straight into a lovely warm bath.
After you've bathed, dry your skin and moisturise. Pay extra attention to elbows and knees, ankles and feet, taking that extra time you never have in the mornings.
Doing it by baths
Nothing beats a soak in the tub with a cup of tea and a gossip mag – call me shallow but I never get the time any other day of the week.
So run the bath, shut the door and relax.
Hair apparent
Give yourself a hair treatment. If you don't have a three- minute miracle mask there are other options including olive oil (it's good enough for Jerry Hall). Just apply a little oil to your scalp, a generous amount to your ends and comb it through the rest of your hair using a wide-toothed comb. Wrap your hair in a towel and leave it for at least half an hour, then shampoo. If oil doesn't appeal you can also use a generous amount of ordinary hair conditioner and follow the same procedure.
Make it up as you go
Easy weekend make-up: who could be bothered with a face full on the weekend? But bare doesn't work terribly well either – not when you want to peruse local markets or catch a movie with a friend. All you need for gorgeous weekend make-up are three essentials: a tinted moisturiser (with SPF protection), a mascara and a bright pink blush.
"Bright pink?" you're thinking – yes. Nothing picks up your complexion like it. Bobbi Brown told me that tip years ago and it's a favourite: it does what that morning walk will do without the effort.
Indulge the scents
Do you save your favourite perfumes for going out on special occasions? There's nothing more luxurious than spritzing on your favourite scent and going nowhere.
